What this covers

RIFT: the app at app.rifttradejournal.com and its plans, this website, the demo at demo.rifttradejournal.com, and the waitlist form.

RIFT is provided by RIFT TRADE JOURNAL LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17466539). In these terms, "we" means that company and "you" means you.

Using this website

This site and the demo are here to be read, tried and shared. Two limits on that, which apply to every page including the demo:

• You must not use any content on this website for commercial purposes without first obtaining the necessary licence to do so, from us or from whoever else holds the rights in that content.
• You must not use this website in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.

Plans and payment

RIFT has three plans, Free, Pro and Elite, described on the pricing page. A new account starts with 14 days of Pro, free, with no card needed; when the trial ends, the account moves to Free unless you choose a plan. Prices include VAT or sales tax where it applies.

Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, who sell RIFT on our behalf. Your purchase is made from Paddle, and Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the payment.

Subscriptions and renewal

Pro and Elite are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and the renewal is charged to the payment method you gave, until you cancel.

If we change the price of a plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle tries again for a while; your plan stays in place while it does, and moves to Free if the payment cannot be taken.

Refunds and cancellations

You can have a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan. Write to info@rifttradejournal.com from the email address on your account and ask; you do not need to give a reason. A refunded plan ends straight away and the account moves to Free. Renewals are not refunded.

You can cancel any time from Plans in the app. Your plan continues to the end of the period you have paid for, then moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: your trades, your journal and Mira's notes stay.

Refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, to the original payment method. None of this affects your rights under consumer law.

RIFT is not financial advice

RIFT is a journal and coaching tool, not financial advice. It describes trades you have already made. It does not recommend positions, it does not predict prices, and nothing it produces, including anything Mira writes, is advice to buy or sell anything.

Trading carries risk, including the risk of losing more than you put in. Decisions you make after reading anything in RIFT are yours.

Playbooks

Playbooks are written by you. RIFT does not assess whether a methodology is sound or profitable, and nothing in this feature is financial advice.

A playbook holds criteria you define, and a grade is arithmetic over the answers you give against your own weights. RIFT may suggest criteria when you create one, worded from the approach you selected; those are a starting point for writing your own, and nothing is added to a playbook unless you add it. A grade reflects your rules, not a prediction of the outcome.

Mira

Mira is a language model reading the statistics of your own trading. It can be wrong, it can misread a pattern, and it can state something with more confidence than the underlying data supports. Treat it as a second opinion from something that has read your journal carefully, not as a source of fact.

The demo

The demo contains invented trades belonging to an invented trader. The figures in it are not anyone's real results and are not a claim about what RIFT can do for you. It is rebuilt from scratch every night, so anything you write in it is temporary by design.

The waitlist

Leaving an email address is a request to be told when access opens. It is not a purchase, not a reservation, and not a promise on either side. There is no date, and it is possible access never opens on the terms you are hoping for.

Availability

This site and the demo are provided as they are, with no guarantee of uptime. The demo in particular is a single small server that is rebuilt nightly and rate limited; it may be slow, and it may occasionally be down.

Charts

Charting in RIFT is drawn with TradingView Advanced Charts, with TradingView Lightweight Charts™ as the fallback, each used under its licence. TradingView does not supply RIFT's price data. Prices in the demo are simulated, marked as such, and are for illustration only; they are not a record of any market.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protection the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
